Me and Colleen

Colleen's great grandmother, Gertrude May and my great grandmother, Annie Eliza were sisters. That makes us third cousins. Gertrude and Annie were born in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia to Mary (ne: Morrell) and Thomas Clarence Crowe.

Annie Eliza married Richard White in 1911 in New Denver, BC. Gertrude May married William George Crocker in Silverton, BC in 1914.

The two families grew up in the Nelson area of the Kootenays.
